Business Intelligence Placement

Job Purpose

Delivery of Business intelligence services across the whole of St Leger Homes of Doncaster Limited :

  • Housing Management (Tenancy Management, Estate Management, Tenancy Support, Financial Inclusion)
  • Customer Services
  • Repairs and Maintenance
  • Asset Management (Stock condition data)
  • Housing Options (Homelessness)
  • Corporate Services (Finance, Income Management, ICT, HR)

The Bigger Picture

You will help deliver our corporate plan by:

  • Helping tenants to sustain their tenancies
  • Improving communication with tenants and residents
  • Providing safer neighbourhoods through reduced anti-social behaviour and crime

The Day to Day

As part of your day to day duties and responsibilities you will:

  • Undertake Business Intelligence research and subsequent statistical and analytical work related to the service area. This will include, but not be limited to:
    • Estate profiling – measures and indicators to establish issues on estates
    • ASB evaluation framework
    • Stock condition data and asset profiling
    • Impact of Government policy - Welfare reform, rent reduction, homelessness reduction
    • Performance monitoring
  • Provide a range of support to teams across Housing Management, Asset Management, Repairs and Maintenance, Corporate Services and Housing Options in relation to general day to day service delivery and service improvement and change projects related to the service area
  • Visit estates within the borough as part of the research work, as required
  • Work from various sites across the business and from different teams to gain full experience of the housing services provided by St Leger Homes
  • Work in a way that demonstrates St Leger Homes’ Values and Behaviours in practice.
  • Work flexibly in the interests of the service – this may include undertaking other duties provided that these are appropriate to the duties and responsibilities of the post.
  • The safeguarding of children and adults is paramount to everything St Leger Homes delivers. All staff are expected to undergo training and then to identify and report all safeguarding concerns through the appropriate channels
