3M is seeking a North Europe Point of Sale Co-ordinator based in at 3M Centre, Bracknell.

Basic Salary: £19,250

Overall Mission

The role sits as part of the Enterprise Operations (EO) providing Point of Sale (POS) acquisition and processing services to the 3M North Europe Region.

The role encompasses:

  • Working with 3M Internal businesses and customer data teams to ensure both quality and on-time receipt of POS data feeds.
  • Working with the Global Service Centre (GSC) to ensure timely loading of POS to our SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
  • Understanding 3M compliance rules and ERP system governance to identify and escalate non-compliant solutions
  • Reporting to POS & Sales & Incentive Plan (SIP) Regional Lead

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal 3M business partners on our POS processing requirements
  • Liaise with internal business contacts and customers on an ongoing basis to ensure timely receipt of compliant POS for loading into Vistex SAP
  • Liaise with the Merchandising and Sales Incentive teams on POS priorities and provide regular communication on data loading status
  • Raise work requests on to the GSC, support pre-conditioning of POS data where needed and resolve GSC escalations in a timely manner
  • Reduce risk to 3M by identifying opportunities to improve processes and service to our internal business clients and our customers
  • Maintain accurate and reliable POS tracking and reporting documents

Key Skills, Capabilities and Qualifications

  • Business and customer relationship management
  • Experience of using data, strong Microsoft excel skills (comfortable with Pivot Tables, V-look ups etc)
  • Proactive self-starter
  • High attention to detail & quality of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Experience with managing demanding workload, working to deadlines and demonstrating strong prioritisation skills

A training and personal development plan will be developed with the successful individual who will also be encouraged to embrace 3M’s significant training resources We operate in a highly collaborative environment so the placement students can rely on plenty of support from colleagues to help them get started and this will continue throughout their time at 3M.

Requirements

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • On track to achieve 2:1 degree
  • 300 UCAS points at A-Level (or equivalent qualification)
  • Valid UK driving licence preferred, but not essential.
