Key Responsibilities:

What will you do as a Finance Intern for the Shared Service Centre?

In this role you will provide support to the Shared Service Centre Financial Reporting team on a wide range of projects and activities. Activities will include providing support with transactional process and projects in order to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business and Finance team. You will gain experience in the following areas:

• Financial reporting under US GAAP
• Month End Close process
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Intercompany transactions & structure

In addition to the above, you will also gain experience within the Change & Transformation team which may cover project and resource management, project reporting and involvement with a dedicated Finance project.

Key Knowledge and Skills:

We are looking for someone with high levels of computer literacy and intermediate/advanced excel skills. Good data handling skills, project management skills and attention to details. The ideal candidate would be confident and proactive to be able to manage multiple tasks and contribute to new improvements. The candidate should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience/Education:

Ideally candidates should be interested in the different areas of Finance and should be studying for a Finance, Economics, Accounting or a closely related business degree, and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
