Key Responsibilities:

What will you do as a Sales Operations / Analyst Intern?

In this role you will be part of the Sales Operations team and will provide support to the Pricing Managers and Commercial Analysts with both their daily tasks and projects. The role will be focused on 2 key areas within the function: Pricing and Analytics.

Essential Functions:

Pricing:

• Support Pricing Managers in the monitoring, reporting and visibility of all aspects of Floor pricing (Global & Regional) through updating trackers and producing ad hoc pricing analysis
• Support Pricing Managers in producing Price Executive Summary and PVM repots for EMEA senior leaders
• Run annual review of floor pricing vs. new COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) to identify any increases needed in the new financial year
• Support Pricing Managers in all areas of Pricing Initiatives, communication and training as a result of Global Projects and other business initiatives

Analytics:

• Support with the sales report, updating this several times a month and distributing it to the markets
• Support with the forecast accuracy report, giving feedback to the markets and helping them to improve their sales forecasting
• Produce the back order report every week, which allows the markets to see their outstanding customer orders
• Support the analyst team in the roll out and promotion of new tools (e.g. BI system, CRM) across EMEA, and change management, as needed
• Other weekly and monthly reporting and analysis as required

Key Knowledge and Skills:

We are looking for someone with good data handling skills and with intermediate/advanced excel skills. Experience with COGNOS, Tableau or similar BI tools would be an advantage. The ideal candidate would be confident and proactive to be able to manage multiple tasks and contribute to new improvements. The candidate should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

Candidates should be interested in Commercial Finance or Business Analytics.

Education:

Studying Finance or other business degree (business/management/economics/marketing) and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
