Middle Office Administrator Placement

This role will support the UK Middle Office team in order to manage the EMEA post trade lifecycle accurately and efficiently. You will work with a variety of World First Teams including Front Office Dealing Desks and Back Office departments such as Treasury and Payments. Furthermore, you will strive to offer outstanding customer service in all client facing facets of the role.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide assistance and support to the Middle Office Team
  • Assisting with client queries and resolving any issues that occur
  • Adding/editing settlement details
  • Producing client statements
  • Ensuring timely settlement of client trades
  • Monitoring the Middle Office Inbox and actioning emails
  • Covering of open positions, booking Swaps, updating forward rates & checking that trades are booked correctly
  • Assisting in the trade to payment process
  • Supporting the Trade Control and Reconciliations function with daily operations
  • Extensive communication with other teams within in the business for example Operations, Dealing, Treasury
  • Internal and External ad hoc requests

Who you are:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • Strong organisational and numerical skills
  • Good team work, communication and ability to work in a time pressured environment
  • Fluency in English is essential
