What does a Recruitment Generalist actually do?
We care about creating a high touch candidate experience, sharing authentic windows into our culture and guiding candidates to envisage their future career at Box. Throughout your 12 months with Box, you are the focal point for EMEA candidate logistics whilst on the lookout for opportunities to improve and scheduling efficiency.
After your first 3 months ramping up, you will then be involved across all Recruiter life cycle activities such as sourcing candidates, reviewing CVs, interviewing, completing reference checks and even extending offers.
What does that mean day to day?
- Coordinating and managing communications of face-to-face (including arranging travel) and video interviews with Recruiter, HR, line managers and business leaders to ensure we delivery an outstanding and memorable candidate experience.
- Using creative and proactive candidate sourcing strategies – such as referral jams, targeted outreach and social media advertising - to engage with the top 10% of the European talent pool
- Project lead and coordinate numerous recruitment events throughout the year, such as diversity happy hours, assessment days and co hosted events with external organizations.
What is Box looking for?
To be eligible you must be an undergraduate student in a placement year course returning to study Autumn 2021, you will have right to work in UK already in place.
Boxers show up each and every day with a growth mindset; expecting each other to be curious, enthusiastic and have a willingness to be coached. If you are studying something Business Studies related it would be a plus, however from experience you don’t need a specific degree background. This is a placement that your attention to detail, communication skills and drive will set you apart. If you happen to speak fluent German or French, this would be helpful as this role has a European remit.
Attention to detail: you are known as someone who loves detail, is highly organized and follows through.
Communication: you build relationships through f2f / video / phone and have excellent written language capability. You will act as a candidate ambassador to Box demonstrating our values whilst at the same time handling confidential information with the upmost discretion.
Drive: genuine interest in talent and laser focused on delivering impactful results.
