Digital Marketing Executive Placement - GTR

We’re looking to recruit a number of undergraduates with flair and motivation to join our bright futures programme, offering you a huge amount of invaluable business experience. You’ll work collaboratively with your line manager to set objectives at the beginning of the placement, which focus on business needs as well as your professional development. Your line manager will support you during your placement and will review your progress and development on a regular basis.

What’s your role?

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be required to support the Digital Team in the day-to-day running of Pernod Ricard core brand activations including retailer partnerships, media campaigns and our CRM program.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast paced, exciting industry and contribute to our global digital marketing strategies.

Key Purpose

  • To support the Digital team with key digital media campaigns throughout the year
  • To review the performance our media activations
  • To support with content development for our key campaigns and retailer platforms

What can you expect?

Content Creation support

  • Uploading creative briefs to job tracker (internal studio’s briefing system)
  • Sourcing, collating and distributing packages of assets as needed by local teams, agencies or retailer partners.
  • Liaising between digital team and creative agencies to make sure feedback on assets is understood and implemented by the agencies. /Managing the rounds of feedback on creative asset development.
  • Sending final sets of assets to media agency
  • Q&A of naming convention documents.

Media Support

  • Analysing PCAs and creating clear and concise summaries to share with internal stakeholders.
  • Liaising between media agency, central marketing, BO and BU to get needed information for campaigns ( URLs required, website pixel implementations, UTM codes).
  • Collecting screen grabs of live campaigns
  • Reporting tasks for Google Analytics, Datorama.
  • Managing tracking sheets for media/campaign deadlines
  • Supporting with compiling legal documentation needed to provide the Legal team

e-Retailers Support

  • Ensuring our brand content on retailer ecommerce sites is up to date and to standard. This will include auditing retailers’ websites to identify missing / outdated content.

PR Support

  • Supporting on PR and Influencer outreach.
  • Sharing any images or supporting materials with PR agency when requested.
  • Managing PR samples deliveries with brand team.

Innovation Support

  • Sharing case studies or articles on innovative Digital & Media initiatives

What do we require?

Applicants must:

  • Be studying a recognised sandwich undergraduate degree
  • Be studying a Marketing, Business or Management related degree
  • Have a minimum of 300 UCAS points over three subjects at A Level (or equivalent)
  • Have an understanding of marketing analytics and be familiar with tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar
  • Have an understanding of eCRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Be familiar with HTML
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and business mind set
  • Be resourceful with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Be inquisitive and have a desire to learn new things
  • Be attentive to detail
  • Be digitally savvy and have a passion for digital marketing/e-commerce
  • Have eligibility to unrestrictedly work and live in the UK for the duration of the placement
  • Be available to work for 12 months

Placements will commence in June 2020 for successful candidates, and will be based in our West London offices in Chiswick.
