Digital Product Assistant Placement

The placement programme provides an excellent insight into how a Digital team develop and plan a company project roadmap. During your placement year you will have the opportunity to use and gain knowledge on a variety of digital systems the business utilises in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining functional documentation of all digital development items
  • Removing blockers for developers to allow them to complete their tasks i.e. answering queries, providing more information
  • Point of contact for the business if there are reported website issues. Raising and assessing the severity of these issues to decide when they are added to the sprint
  • Supporting the IT Project Manager to run daily stand-ups, retrospective and refinement meetings
  • Supporting the digital team with analysis and reporting of digital channels and communicating results to the business
  • Maintaining and communicating the development roadmap to the business stakeholders
  • Testing new functionality and supporting UAT with marketing
  • Supporting the team with new ideas (features, functionality, improvements) for all digital channels
  • Co-ordinating website releases with the IT project manager and communicating to the business the release notes
