Supply Chain/ Global Spares Placement

Collins Aerospace is a premier Aerospace company and our goal is to set the standard for world class customer support in the aftermarket.

The Supply Chain team provides materials to support the MRO and third party customers contributing significantly to the annual sales commitment.

We are looking to offer an undergraduate the opportunity to join us in a 12 months to identify and implement improvement projects as well as providing general support to the team. This is a great opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the challenges that are faced in a customer / supplier facing department managing hundreds of vendors and thousands of parts.

The successful candidate will need to have good interpersonal and communication skills, good project management skills, be computer literate and work well under pressure.

The range of activities will be as follows:

  • Provide support with the Supplier Performance process. Helping to develop new and current vendors.
  • Develop data management tools and standard work to improve overall efficiency.
  • To implement all viable process improvements in order to create additional capacity for the Indirect Supply Chain team.
  • To provide general support as required, including some customer / supplier facing tasks.

The position has a competitive salary along with 25 days paid annual holiday.

IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to commit to the full 12 month placement (apart from the above holidays).
