Sales, Marketing and Business Development Assistant Placement

We have two opportunities to join the commercial team.

One opportunity will support the Components team, and will be a commercial / marketing role.

The other opportunity is in the Power Distribution team focussing on Business to Business Sales, with direct customer contact with clients working in the Energy, Rail and Renewable industries.

The main duties will include;

• Preparation of customer quotations and tenders
• Collating market intelligence.
• Supporting the commercial team / Key Account managers.
• Maintenance of the Bicon Components website (CMWX)
• Undertaking market research utilising all available mediums (CMWX)
• Maintain regular contact with customers to establish strong relationships
• Marketing duties – brochures / exhibitions.

We are looking for;

• An ability to work well under pressure.
• Professional attitude to work and a willingness to learn.
• High level of skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to plan and prioritise your own workload
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
