Reporting directly into the Field Marketing Executive, you will have the opportunity to have a real “in your shoes” experience of how a future career in sales and marketing could potentially be.

You will have the opportunity to support other product categories within the B2B sales organisation including security cameras, broadcast cameras and communication solutions, giving you an amazing insight into all areas of the business.

Ok, so what would be my primary responsibilities?

Your key responsibilities are summarised by the following 5 elements:

1) Co-ordination of Demonstration Stock:

The demonstration stock is an integral part of the visual team achieving and exceeding sales targets. Our demonstration fleet includes hundreds of projectors and displays which are located all around Europe.

You will be challenged with the task of getting products in the right place, at the right time, in order to secure the sale. This will involve you working closely with colleagues in different countries and the sales team in order to satisfy demand for demo stock, whilst simultaneously managing expectations. The co-ordination of the demonstration stock is your sole responsibility, meaning that you’ll have end to end ownership of this logistical task.

2) Daily and Monthly Sales Reporting:

One of your duties will be to compile a sales report that summarises sales activity for a specific period, for the purpose of measuring this against quarterly targets. The sales report is a fundamental tool used by the team as it provides insights which help to determine the business strategy for the short term.

3) Management of Promotional Materials:

As part of your role you will be required to organise the distribution of promotional materials to both events and customers. You’ll have creative freedom when it comes to generating new ideas for promotional materials, as new ideas are always welcomed.

4) Supporting Events:

You will also play a crucial role in the organisation of trade show events that support product launches and promote the strengthening of our client base, and in some cases, you will be required to organise all elements of the event from the venue selection to the product kit. One of events you will likely need to attend is ISE, which is one of the largest AV shows in the world. You may also have the opportunity to visit various countries around Europe, as well as the UK.

5) Updating Marketing CRM Tools:

We use 2 CRM systems and you will have the opportunity to be trained on them. These are:

Salesforce.com is a cloud-based CRM system that allows salespeople to track their sales, support people to track their cases, and the entire company's employees to collaborate with each other. We use this as a database for all our customers, and to create reports for tracking sales and leads.

Marketo, Inc. is a software company focused on account-based marketing, including email, mobile, social, digital ads, web management, and analytics. We use this tool to create tailored campaigns for events, telemarketing, promotions and using analytics to track the effectiveness of these campaigns.

So what skills are we looking for?

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good Teamwork.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Well organised and effective at time management to help ensure targets are met.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
