Technology Engineering Support Placement

About The Internship

As a Technology Engineering Support Intern, you will be delivering technical, administrative and organisational support to the team. You will assist the technology and broadcast managers with updating documentation and managing a methodical system for handling deliverables and assets. Your role will also include tracking issues using a ticket system and analysing transmission issues so they can be resolved quickly and assist with the daily operation of Disney’s media asset management and workflow system. You will support our extensive Post Production facility comprised of broadcast online edit suites, graphics workstations and render farm, broadcast audio mixing suites and remote edit clients on laptops.

This internship is suitable for those studying Software, Computer or Broadcast Engineering.

Eligibility

  • Must be an undergraduate student in a sandwich year course returning to study in Autumn 2021
  • Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
  • Studying for a degree that is relevant to the role applied for

Requirements

  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
