A Security internship puts you right at the heart of our award-winning terminals, where you can gain a unique understanding of how the work, we do makes every journey better. This isn’t just about looking after the safety and wellbeing of all passengers. It’s also about keeping people moving, making each customer feel welcome and helping to create the experiences that make Heathrow unique. As an intern, you’ll be part of implementing new projects in our frontline functions, looking at how technology is changing our operations and having a meaningful impact on each and every passenger journey.

Starting in early October 2020 and lasting between 10 and 12 months, this opportunity is ideal as either a university placement or a first role for a graduate looking to see their career take off. Whatever your background, we’ll help you get off to a flying start, through a structured learning programme, ongoing mentorship and support, and lots of exposure to experienced managers and colleagues.

And when you reach the end of your programme, the opportunities will just be beginning. There are a huge range of career paths open for you in our business, including the chance to progress onto one of our Future Leaders programmes or to secure a permanent role within your function.
