Communications & Sustainability Industrial Placement

A placement in the Communications & Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Teams puts you at the heart of shaping Unilever’s reputation as the leader in sustainable business. From planning, delivering and communicating corporate and sustainability strategy through to managing reputational issues and advocating for systemic change, everything we do drives towards strengthening trust in our brands, our company and our people.

You’ll gain skills in campaigning, media relations, advocacy, partnerships, innovation, digital communications, content, writing and strategic issues management in a fast-paced, externally facing environment, with a unique insight into agendas which cut across the whole business.

Students must have completed the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree by the time they start their placement and be returning to study after their placement.

We also have excellent benefits to support you through your placement including a salary of £20,000, 20-25 days’ annual leave and training through virtual and instructor-led sessions.
