Legal Associate - Placement Student

SAP is looking for passionate, motivated and articulate second year students, currently on course for a 2:1 degree with a keen interest in working in a fast-paced, exciting environment. The Role

As a Legal Associate, you will gain experience working within the in-house legal department of a multinational technology company that will be incredibly valuable when it comes to applying for training contracts with law firms. Your primary roles include, but are not limited to, reviewing and advising on SAP Consulting statements of work, procurement and marketing documentation; assisting lawyers in team in software sales transactions; being the first point of contact for Novation and Amendment queries, as well as internal corporate queries and training the SAP sales team on legal matters. The geographic scope of your role will be diverse and varied, ranging from your standard responsibilities, to assisting with other legal department matters, such as litigation support, enforcement of SAP’s trademarks and numerous other ad hoc tasks. The broad range of opportunities provided to you during your 13 months with SAP will assist you in focusing in on particular areas of law that you have a passion to pursue in your postgraduate career.
