Purchasing Assistant Placement

In the Procurement Team you will have involvement in the following:

  • To work and learn in the Procurement environment to ensure the BSH community spend wisely
  • Promote Purchasing best practice throughout the Business, in accordance with Corporate Company Guidelines
  • Liaising with support teams in Order Centre, GB-Payables & Global Category Managers
  • Linking with Internal Stakeholders in order to understand & support their Purchasing needs

Qualifications required:

Education

  • Working towards a BA Hons in Business Studies/Business Admin or a Business related Degree
  • Expected overall Grade 2:1

Experience

  • Previously held employment either paid or voluntary

Specific knowledge

  • Background and interest in Purchasing or Business Studies/Support/Management
  • Commercially focused, with the ability to initiate and drive forward ideas
  • Excellent time management & organization skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure; to maintain excellent attention to detail and meet strict deadlines
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to take initiative and responsibility for tasks
  • Team player with Communication skills at all levels
