Front Office Internship

Hilton's Front Office teams are responsible for every guest's first impression when they walk through the doors of our hotels. As a Front Office Intern, you will be able to develop excellent customer service skills through regular guest interaction. You will be the face of our hotel and will ensure a memorable reception experience for Guests.

Some of your responsibilities will include the check in and check out of guests, dealing with guest enquiries, informing guests about hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other hotel facilities as well as maximizing room occupancy and using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.

South of England:

  • Hilton Southampton Ageas Bowl
  • Hilton Brighton Metropole
  • Hilton Reading

  • Hilton Avisford Park

Wales:

  • Hilton Cardiff

North of England:

  • Hilton Manchester Deansgate

Ireland:

What are we looking for?

As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet in order to be considered for one of our fantastic hotel based internships. These are detailed as follows;

  • Must be in your second year of undergraduate study at the point of application
  • Must be able to start in July 2020 and available for the full 12 months.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK. If you area non-EU national then you will need to be studying at a UK university in order to be eligible to undertake a placement here.
  • Motivated, ambitious and resilient
  • Passionate about building a career within the hospitality industry
  • Able to demonstrate an exceptional level of customer focus
  • Must be willing to do shift work, which might include working unsociable hours
