Category Assistant Placement

Support BSH Category Managers and work with other departments towards implementing the BSH strategy, and achieving Corporate Goals and Business Plan targets.

Key tasks are to support the Category Management team’s work schedule according to business strategy, plan and brand objectives. This will include:

  • Maintaining all relevant product information systems, e.g. eTeam / Censhare in line with business demands and/or advised by Category
  • Preparation, creation, review and presentation of information:
  • Technical Information
  • Product features and benefits
  • Competitor information and comparisons
  • Market information
  • Sales benchmarking
  • Sales performance information
  • Gap / opportunity analysis
  • Coordination of all forms of product information requested by the business, i.e. specification sheets and set-up sheets for Key Accounts.
  • Fulfilling all relevant tasks to provide other departments and third parties with necessary and accurate product information. Develop and maintain adequate level of communication
  • Assist with coordination of phase in / phase out and rationalisation activities.
  • To deputise for Category Manager when asked and thought appropriate at sales meetings /presentations.
  • To develop relationships with relevant Head Office Product Teams to ensure continuity of information flow
  • Organise own work schedule according to the agreed time frames
  • Adhere to all Company processes, procedures, policies and standards
  • Adhere to Corporate Compliance & BSH Business Conduct Guidelines at all times
  • As a team member to contribute to the overall success of the team and the Company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, focus and professionalism at all times
