As a placement in Crystal Ski Holidays Marketing Team, you’ll spend an invaluable year working right at the heart of our business – with real responsibilities, and the chance to work on real projects. During your placement, you’ll work as a Marketing Executive with our team in Surbiton and will gain unrivalled exposure to four of Crystal Ski Holidays’ key marketing areas – brand, content, customer marketing and digital marketing – delivering and managing a variety of exciting projects and campaigns for our Ski, Lakes and Mountains brands.
Your role will be an integral part of the marketing team, as you’ll get involved in all aspects of our national, local and digital campaigns. You’ll do this by building brand awareness and driving engagement and direct response across multiple channels, both on and offline, including press, outdoor, paid, owned and earned channels. This will involve planning, delivering and managing campaigns, ensuring consistent and engaging brand content across Crystal Ski Holidays and its digital retail channels for consumer, trade and retail marketing.
Throughout your placement, you’ll get involved in a range of Crystal Ski Holidays marketing projects from events to brand awareness, engagement campaigns, budget management and direct response campaigns. You’ll get involved with merchandising meetings, campaign reporting and monthly budget tracking, as well as being a point of contact in the team for help, support and brand-related queries.
Armed with your innovative ideas, you’ll get stuck into the creative side of marketing by working closely with the creative services team; from writing inspiring creative briefs for designers, to bringing the brand to life, to supporting on content and digital asset management.
You’ll get the chance to work with the wider business to ensure the Crystal Ski Holidays brand is understood and consistent throughout the customer journey, working as a brand advocate and delivering brand training to wider teams. As well as building internal relationships with other key business areas to deliver executable campaigns, you’ll also have the opportunity to work with external media agencies, specialist press partners and 3rd party suppliers.
Our placements are suitable for those who are on a sandwich degree course, looking for a 12-month placement to commence in August 2020, and due to graduate by September 2022, as you’ll complete the industrial placement in your penultimate year of university.
You’ll be on track for a 2:1 or above in any subject, and have a minimum of 120 UCAS points under the 2017 tariff system (extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
