Finance Associate - Placement Student

SAP is looking for passionate, motivated and articulate second year students, currently on course for a 2:1 degree with a keen interest in working in a fast-paced, exciting environment. The Role

As a Finance Associate you will work within the dynamic UK and Ireland Controlling team, touching the regional and global Finance and Administration organisation. You will have a key role in financial reporting, assisting in their construction and analysis and leading your own projects. You will assist in both financial controlling and forecasting, giving significant interaction with shared services colleagues and interacting with multiple other departments in SAP, enabling you to become a proficient controlling employee and see real results from your contribution. This role provides substantial opportunity to support the team in developing its ability further to increase the level of business support and business partnering that it provides to the UK and Ireland market unit.

Role Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
  • Business, accounting, IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Time management and the ability to multi-task
  • Effective communicator
  • Inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions
