Tax Industrial Placement
Get a head start on your graduate career while helping local and international businesses find better ways of doing tax. You’ll earn a salary while gaining on-the-job experience in an organisation that’s shaping the future of business.
What is Tax at EY?
Tax affects every aspect of our lives and laws are always changing. We help local and global entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and organisations from start-ups to influential multinationals, manage every element of their business’s tax.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be working on real client projects from day one. You’ll start to build your knowledge of local and international tax laws, attend client meetings, take notes and contribute to client reports. With the support of senior colleagues and a career coach, you’ll gain a better understanding of:
- Tax reporting, compliance and planning
- How to build important relationships with clients
- The broad range of skills that you’ll need to build a successful career
Throughout the placement you’ll have opportunities to learn from EY’s in-house experts, and if you join FS, you’ll start working towards a professional accountancy qualification.
If everything works out well, you could even secure a job here after you graduate. For FS graduates, you can also continue studying for your qualifications.
Qualifications you will gain
Professional training in essential business skills on Financial Services placements, and partial completion of a professional accountancy qualification
