Social Media Internship

We are currently recruiting for a Social Media Intern to join our London office Graduate Recruitment team on a four month placement. The role will run from September to December 2019.

Role purpose

To work alongside the graduate recruitment team to design our social media strategy. This includes the sourcing of content, production and scheduling of all posts across our core channels (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter). The social media strategy should also be integrated with other elements of our campaign: website, marketing collateral and brochure.

The role would predominantly support the UK graduate team but would also be responsible for producing high level content which can be leveraged globally.

You will be part of an award winning graduate recruitment team with the overall goal to be the number one employer of choice in the legal sector.

Role and responsibilities

• Your focus day-to-day will be to plan and post across various A&O graduate recruitment social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter).
• You will create content for these platforms to drive traffic to our website and applications to our programmes and/or competitions.
• You will be expected to coordinate with our external agency to ensure the activity is in-line with our brand.
• You will work alongside our global recruiting project lead to create engaging copy for use across the network.
• Being analytically-minded with your campaigns will be crucial as you report on our social media activity as well as monitor competitors and keep on top of social media trends.
• The role requires experience with video and photo editing to produce content in-house.
• Utilise our social media channels to elevate A&O’s brand further in the graduate marketplace.

Key requirements

• To take on this role, you will need experience of working across various social media platforms, specifically: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and building/engaging communities.
• Attention to detail – all posts need to be accurate and seamless across all platform.
• Effective time management
