Tax Summer Internships

Be part of EY’s Tax teams for a summer, with paid work experience and a taste for the world of work. You’ll get a feel for the business world with on-the-job experience and opportunities to meet influential experts. You’ll also develop great business skills that will shape the rest of your career, while helping local and international businesses find better ways of doing tax.

What is Tax at EY?

Tax affects every aspect of our lives and laws are always changing. We help local and global entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and organisations from start-ups to influential multinationals, manage every element of their business’s tax.

What will you be doing?

Whether you join us in Tax, in the EMEIA Tax centre or in People Advisory Services – Mobility and Reward, as a summer intern, you’ll start developing your understanding of tax laws before getting to work on real client projects. Before long, you’ll be doing similar work to our graduates, which could include:

  • Researching and contributing information to written reports
  • Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of FTSE 100 businesses
  • Meeting with clients, mentors and coaches

Best of all, if you do a great job you could be offered a place on one of our graduate programmes to come back to, when you finish uni.

If you’re in your penultimate year at uni (doing any degree course) or, you’re already in your final year but will be doing a one-year master’s degree or taking a gap year, this internship is for you.

We close applications as soon as the set number of roles have been filled – so it’s best to apply sooner rather than later!

Please note, this role does not start until Summer 2020 - therefore you will need to be in your penultimate year as of September 2019 to apply when applications are open.
