Chemistry Industrial Placements - 2020 Intake
When on a chemistry industrial placement with GSK you will join an established chemistry team dedicated to improving the quality of human life by enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer. Placements are based in chemistry groups spanning all stages of the drug discovery and development process.
The placement is highly practically based; you will carry out a wide range of synthetic organic chemistry reactions aimed at delivering molecules of interest. You will be introduced to state-of-the-art techniques for isolating and characterising compounds. You'll need ambition, excellent analytical, communication and team working skills, a genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a self-motivated, proactive approach.
Degree Requirements: You will have completed a minimum of two years of your undergraduate degree in a related scientific discipline but will not have graduated at the start of your placement.
Locations: Various sites across the UK.
