Design Engineer Placement
We are passionate about what we do, designing and building bespoke product solutions for our customers, on site at our workshop in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. You witness first-hand as your design moves from 3D CAD to being assembled by our highly skilled production team.
Once complete and fully tested the compressor system is dispatched to the end customers located around the world. The expertise and knowledge we have gain over the past 30 years ensures we stand out from the competition.
Join us in our UK Head Office for a 1-year student placement role and gained invaluable experience on high value international projects.
Day to day you will make a difference by…
- Working on high value customised product solutions for our international customer base.
- Supporting the lead Engineers, by taking responsibility for the design of sub modules on a range of projects.
- Taking sub modules from CAD design to realisation in the workshop.
- Working on the modularization improvements project, to define the project architecture for future projects.
- Becoming embedded in the project team, and using knowledge learnt to make recommendations has to how we can reduce lead times and costs.

The person we are looking for is….
- A student in their penultimate year of university preferably studying a Business, Engineering or Science-related degree. However, other backgrounds will be considered.
- Experienced / knowledgeable in CAD design.
- Interested in solving technical problems with creative thinking.
- Innovative with a flair for design.
- Happy to be hands on and get involved with the whole team.
