The opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Business Continuity team within the International IT organisation who are leading the charge to help the global business adopt cutting edge IT principles.

You will play a key role in: -

• Obtaining the business context and applying this with technical knowledge to help drive change into BCI-Transition.
• Helping create innovative solutions to strategic problems, trial them on a small basis, evaluate the results and provide recommendations for wider roll out.
• Preparing detailed reports and presentations on a wide range of topics to support the continual improvement of BCI-Transition.
• Working with the offshore vendor(s) to explore novel solutions that they are offering and evaluate them in the context of TNT-FedEx.
• Working on business-critical projects to transition business value from development into production and acceptance by the production support teams.

What you’ll need:

• To be studying for an IT based degree that offers a placement year opportunity
• To be able to demonstrate strong communication skills
• To have had exposure to Agile software lifecycles
• To have developed code in at least one language
• Have strong organisation skills with high levels of attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively with different stakeholder groups
