Product Support Specialist Placement

Are you hungry to enter the flourishing Technology sector?

This is a superb opportunity to get into the heart of a SaaS Enterprise Product and a world-class Customer Success organisation, at a company born in the cloud Silicon Valley company.

Why should you join Box for your placement.

Box lets you securely manage, share and access your content from anywhere. You work next to professionals with both deep technical knowledge and Technical Account Management experience. You will also be exposed to our CSM, Consulting and Sales Engineering teams to help you find your passion while delivering first class Support to some of our biggest Customers.

Box Product Support is redefining what it means to be technical support.

We are intelligent, resourceful, clever, and committed. We break through walls to solve our customers' problems. We don't follow scripts. We listen, understand, and act as internal advocates for some of the world's largest enterprises. We are evaluated on our ability to GSD, not churn through cases.

What will I do as a Product Support Specialist?

It's an amazing time to be working at Box and transforming the content management landscape and providing Technical Support is at the core of our mission. You will vigilantly pursue user delight and bridge the gap between our most strategically meaningful customers and our Product team. As a product expert you will work closely with Product and Engineering teams.

Beyond solving customer problems over phone and email, you will continually analyse quantitative and qualitative user trends and share them with the Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to ensure the optimal Customer Experience. You are a Product Expert and can articulate your customers' business needs. You are a user advocate and a consultant for Box's full suite of web and desktop applications and services.

You will be both a Support representative and Consultant for a variety of subjects related to the Box web application, desktop clients and mobile applications. You will resolve web based and phone requests via Zendesk (our CRM), Community, phone, live chat, screen-shares and other tools.

What are Box looking for?

You love customer interaction and like solving tough issues. You can turn a frustrated customer into a Box advocate. You are curious, resourceful and trustworthy. You communicate issues to engineers on a technical level yet speak clearly to customers. People would describe you as a "self-starter" and can easily motivate yourself when given a project or a task. While you may never have considered a role in technical support, you are excited by the idea of revolutionizing how a company resolves its customers' technical needs.

Why should I be curious in this role as my placement?

Apart from working with a talented and diverse bunch of colleagues (..well across Europe we have 31 nationalities including Andorra), being based out of our EMEA HQ you will get to see how an Enterprise Tech company works from the inside including the growing importance of Customer Success as a function.

Here's the fine print...

  • 20% + year on year growth
  • 97% approval rating of our CEO Aaron Levie and 4.6 culture rating (via Glassdoor)
  • Active social calendar and communities, including Box Women's Network and PRIDE.
  • Flat organization: easy access to Directors, VPs and above
  • Culture of learning - we value continued development at Box. Host a number of workshops regularly from unconscious bias and radical candor.
  • Box.org: Plentiful opportunity for you to give back and provides nonprofits resources they need to innovate and fulfill their mission.

Benefits:

  • Salary £25,000 (pro-rata 12 month period)
  • Awesome EMEA HQ office in White Collar Factory in the middle of the London's flourishing tech scene on Old Street
  • freshly prepared free lunch from our in-house chef + lots of snacks and drinks
