Marketing Placement

Beko PLC are looking for an undergraduate student to join and support the functioning of the Trade marketing department for a 12-month placement.

1. To support the trade marketing team in developing and implementing marketing initiatives and projects e.g. delivering in-store communications, brochures, POS, digital assets and digital website content and events – Trade shows, HQ events and exhibitions.

2. Own the creation, development and implementation of all trade marketing brochures throughout the year. Liaising with the relevant internal departments (Product Management, Brand Marketing) and external design agencies. Attention to detail on product details, layout and consistency.

3. Manage and maintain the Beko plc Marketing Portal, an asset management tool. Update the portal with the most relevant campaign assets ATL and BTL. Responsible for site maintenance and updates for usability. Create digital content to be hosted on the site. Monthly reporting on users and downloads. Drive awareness of the portal through key initiatives, ECRM and incentives.

4. To work closely with the sales team and external media agency to order and deliver exclusive retailer product samples for video and photography. Maintaining a complex Excel working documents to monitor and track progress. Work alongside Product Management to order samples for the Beko PLC showroom.

5. Showroom upkeep and maintenance ensure the showroom is always fit to trade. Product tickets are briefed and in place, management of the movement of the products from customers & warehouse to the showroom.

6. Work closely with the Trade Marketing team on maintaining the department budget. Ensuring all relevant purchase orders are raised, logged, tracked and communicated to relevant parties appropriately.

7. Responsible for content and competitor audits when necessary. Content audits – review retailer assets and provide missing rich content. Competitor audits – review key competitor activity in-store and online and create summary reports.

8. Responsible for the ordering and maintenance of Beko PLC retailer giveaways (pens, notepads etc). Work with our promotion’s agency on promotional merchandise, design and delivery. Responsible for ordering merchandise via SAP and ensuring its timely and accurate delivery.

9. Develop close working relationships with the Brand, Digital and Product marketing teams, NDC warehouse team, external design and merchandising agencies.

10. Responsible for creating digital retailer brand stores, alongside brand and digital marketing. Writing copy, developing creative assets, whilst working to wireframe templates.

11. Retailer website audits, analysis of imagery and rich feature content.

12. To work alongside the Brand and Product team to implement Hero POS

13. To help support any additional marketing activity that may be reasonably requested as and when necessary. For example; assistance with Trade Shows, competition prize fulfilment.

14. Proactively identify areas for improvement e.g. processes which need to be updated e.g. brochures, giveaways and propose a more efficient and cost-effective solution.

Working towards a degree

Experience

Minimum marketing experience helpful to understand how a company and marketing department functions.

Additional Information

12-month placement to assist the Trade Marketing Team.

The Successful candidate will be required to work 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, at our Watford office.
