EMEA Marketing Assistant Placement

DEPARTMENT: EMEA Marketing

LOCATION: Segensworth, Fareham UK

SHIFT: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will be part of the 1-day team (daily disposable contact lenses) and will provide support to the Marketing Managers with both their daily tasks and projects, but also have the opportunity to be responsible for your own projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Support overall regional product / portfolio specific strategies and ensure their successful execution
  • Evaluate the marketing / commercial strategy and plans to meet the changing needs, market and competitive conditions.
  • Develop and support the market execution of campaigns, promotions and demand creating initiatives for the specific products throughout the region aligned with Global, regional and market priorities.
  • Support briefing process and campaign development with marketing agencies
  • Assess and develop new opportunities for specific products including geographical, channel, and customer expansion.
  • Participate in product reviews, portfolio rationalisation and end of life decisions.

Key Knowledge and Skills:

We are looking for someone with project management skills, very detailed oriented, have good working understanding of Power Point, Excel and Word. The ideal candidate would be confident and proactive to be able to manage multiple tasks and contribute to new improvements. The candidate should also have a strong customer orientation (Internal and external) and good presentation skills.

Experience:

Candidates should be interested in Marketing, Product Management.

Education

Studying for Marketing, International Marketing or a Business related degree, and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
