Talent Acquisition Placement

We now have a fantastic internship opportunity available to join our UK Talent Acquisition team. This is a 12 month placement which will give you a great insight into the recruitment and HR processes in a global organisation.

What will you do as a Talent Acquisition Intern?

In this role you will be supporting the UK Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure that our candidates have a positive experience from beginning to end. You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating recruitment activity such as interviews, supporting candidate assessments, recruitment system management and candidate communications.

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively provide administrative support
  • Ensure the recruitment system is fully utilised throughout the recruitment process
  • Posting vacancies on company websites, social media and job boards
  • Support the planning and co-ordination of recruitment activities
  • Administering assessments for candidates where appropriate.
  • Take responsibility for providing effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Tracking applications and ensuring managers respond to all candidates within a timely manner, providing feedback to candidates and agencies.
  • Act as point of contact for all recruitment related queries.
  • Maintain records and metric reports on all recruitment related activity, preparing weekly and ad hoc reports
  • Work closely with HR to ensure new starter information is provided promptly and accurately
  • Follow up on candidate’s acceptance to close vacancies
  • Participate in and lead on ad-hoc process improvement projects
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies

Key Knowledge and Skills:

We are looking for someone with initiative, who is confidence and proactive to be able to manage multiple tasks and contribute to new improvements. The ideal candidate would have intermediate/advanced excel skills and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll be interested in Recruitment/HR and be able to show passion and enthusiasm as well as demonstrating excellent customer service skills when dealing with both candidates and internal colleagues.

Education

Studying for Human Resources, International Business or a closely related degree, and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
