From its main office in Germering (Munich), ERS develops and manufactures high-precision thermal management wafer probing solutions, as well as complementary measuring instruments and systems designed for the production and test of advanced semiconductor chips.
Are you Tech-savvy, rich for a 1st experience, and willing to work in a global high-tech company? Then you have come to the right place! We are looking for a Co-op student who can join us for 1 year.
Job description: Your main task will be to assist with the development of new electronic solutions, writing test programs, and writing documentation for the development of the electronics. You will also assist the production team in bringing our products to the market. You will need a good understanding of our technology and the semiconductor manufacturing market.
Your responsibilities include:
- Hardware and software design.
- Documenting changes and updating manuals.
- Executing tests on our measurements systems.
- Generating test results, as well as troubleshooting and analyzing any errors in the test results.
- Working with our engineers on the development of hardware and software content from development to release, according to the agreed-upon schedule.
Qualification and skill requirements:
- Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and control engineering is desired.
- Good understanding of analogue and digital hardware design.
- Working experience with ARM Cortex Micro Controller.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
- Experience with MS Visual Studio.
- Ability to safely handle measurement and control instruments.
