We have an exciting opportunity for a paid internship within our European IT team, where you will be able to gain valuable work experience in a global FMCG company.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an intern to join our IT team, based in Folkestone, Kent on a 12-month contract commencing in Summer 2019. The role will incorporate data selection and validation for direct marketing campaigns, project support for data warehousing and business. Reporting and analysis for the EU business unit will include website metrics, customer segmentation and creating and updating dashboards for sales performance.
Our ideal candidate will be articulate, able to work on their own initiative, numerate and have experience with data/spreadsheets.
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from current students looking to undertake an industry placement year and also graduates seeking their first Business Intelligence/IT opportunity.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an undergraduate/postgraduate ideally in Business Studies or IT
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Proficiency across all Microsoft Office Programs
- Good attention to detail
- Experience with data entry and visualization is desirable
- French/German language skills would be an advantage (but not essential)
