Technical/Operations Placement

Working with our Technical Department for 6 months and our Operations Department for 6 months, you will be a key member team.

In Technical this placement will see you learning how to help us keep our food safety and quality at the high levels we’re known for. You’ll be out there on the production floor, solving problems and developing new ways of working and raise standards even higher.

In Operations you’ll stay focused on the production line’s people and processes – learning how to maintain and develop standards, develop the production team and keeping efficiency levels high.

Get ready to:

Learn and develop in four main areas, all linked to our manufacturing standards. These are foundation skills, the core principles of manufacturing, applying these principles, and problem solving and decision making. You’ll learn these in a range of roles and you’ll be supported to right from the start.You’ll be improving the production processes and ways of working at the same time as you’re learning about them. You’ll also work with a wide range of people on an equally wide range of functional and process projects.

The range of experience you’ll get will be second to none. You’ll support every part of the manufacturing site you’re working in or with, and you’ll meet regularly with suppliers.

It’s perfect for you if:

You are in your second year of University and looking for a year long placement in your third year. You have relevant experience in FMCG, are ambitious and have great drive and determination.

Where it could lead:

Successful completion of the placement could lead to a graduate offer to join our graduate programme in 2021.
