We are now approaching our 4th intake of placement students, with our 2019 intake set to be our biggest yet. We will be recruiting 18 placement students, across several key departments, such as: Automation Engineering, Intellectual Property, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Media, Tooling Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Furthermore, we are proud to say that we have two new placements for 2019 in Business Analytics and a Manufacturing Systems due to the success of our current placements.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• This is an entry-level position to the Global Support Teams Training Department and Technical Communications team. You will be assisting in the development of storyboards for machine overview, functionality, operation, calibrations and maintenance and then creation of professional videos, animations and photographs which will lead the industry on how we deliver training around the World.
• Liaise with the Team/ Project Leader/s to clarify objectives, area of responsibility and standards associated with of each specific piece of work to be undertaken.
• Where appropriate, liaise with internal staff (e.g. Technical Communications, Engineers from within the Engineering project team) for the purpose of clarifying the exact nature of how the systems function to maximise on project success.

Your profile:

• You will be studying a degree course in Media Studies, or similar subject.
• Able to receive and understand relatively straight-forward instructions for direction and guidance.
• You will have a sense of intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to apply basic knowledge/ skills to own work.
• Make it your mission to build stable and useful working relationships; able to co-ordinate effectively with others.
• Will always achieve goals / objectives as an individual and within the team environment.
