We will make it our mission to make sure your 13-month placement is as enjoyable as possible and educational.

We are now approaching our 4th intake of placement students, with our 2019 intake set to be our biggest yet. We will be recruiting 18 placement students, across several key departments, such as: Automation Engineering, Intellectual Property, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Media, Tooling Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Furthermore, we are proud to say that we have two new placements for 2019 in Business Analytics and a Manufacturing Systems due to the success of our current placements.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• To perform system testing according to the system test proposal and system test database procedure, ensuring all measurements are taken and appropriate specifications are completed.
• As a component system test student placement, the jobholders testing responsibilities will tend to be small to medium sized projects in both complexity and diversity.
• Involving a reasonable level of technical challenge, you will need to undertake testing of complete machines/modules and
• Comply with test procedures and take responsibility for ensuring all points on the test checklist are completed at appropriate points in the test cycle in a timely manner.
• Where practicable provide alternative solutions to rectify identified faults, should the fault re-occur during the testing process.

Your profile:

• You will be currently studying for a degree in an Engineering field, with the desire progress to a System Test role.
• Able to demonstrate understanding of how a screen printer functions at a user level with training.
• You will be able to communicate effectively face to face and in writing with people at all levels in an organisation.
• Ability to build stable and useful working relationships.
• You will be able to describe, both written and orally, systems, machines, and their operation or ability to learn.
