Sales Strategy Placement

Working within the sales strategy department, as the department intern. The role will be varied working with all areas of the department:

Business enabling: Sales Steering & Pricing

This area focuses on Project Management and Project Support, Pricing Management, Promotional activities, our in house CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, and sales tools we have developed. This area of the department focuses on smarter and efficient ways of working. To prepare us for the evolution of our business. With a focus To develop and maintain processes to help the business move forward, both commercially and internally

Daily Tasks

  • Project office: Maintaining all project documentation, Risk analysis, working with the project manager on all tasks, status reports, project rollouts, minutes, meeting prep, template maintenance, building workpackgages.
  • Pricing Management: SAP pricing set up, Promotional set up, Profit checks, Process maintenance and reviews, Pricelist Creation and distribution.
  • CRM: Working within the tool itself for pricing management, project support on all system developments, support key user on new users set ups, trainings, process changes linked to the system.

Reporting and Consumer Insight

This area focuses on Market Reporting, Sales Reporting, Market Research, and Customer Presentations. This area of the department focuses on our department being the first choice in the sourcing of knowledge and support for our peers from insights and presentations, so that they have the tools to drive sales through cross collaboration, with the end result always being what our costumer and clients needs are.

Daily Tasks

  • Reporting: Supporting all levels across the business in our inhouse reporting tool. Running reports, training users, supporting key user with system developments and new user set up.
  • Analysis: Supporting the reporting analysts with analysing data sets, to provide information to our senor and executive management team with turnover and profit devolvement.
  • Market Reporting: Working with the analysts tracking market developments & trends.
  • Insights: Working with the market shopper to understand consumer trends. Working with surveys, analysis data and creating updates to the business.
  • Presentation: Creating presentations for business updates in GB & Germany.

Qualifications required

Education

Working towards a 2:1in business management

Experience

  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with presenting

Specific knowledge

  • Excel - Intermediate level
  • Powerpont – basic level
