Purchasing Placement

In the procurement team you will have involvement in the following:

  • To work and learn in the procurement environment to ensure the BSH community spend wisely.
  • Promote purchasing best practice throughout the business, in accordance with corporate company guidelines.
  • Liaising with support teams in order centre, Accounts payable and global category managers.
  • Linking with internal stakeholders in order to understand and support their purchasing needs

Qualifications required

Education

  • Working towards a BA Hons in Business studies/ Business Admin or Business related degree
  • Expected overall grade of 2:1

Specific knowledge

  • Background and interest in purchasing or business studies/ support
  • Commercially focused, with the ability to initiate and drive forward ideas.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, to maintain excellent attention to details and maintain strict deadlines
  • Very good knowledge of MS-office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to take initiative and responsibility for tasks
  • Team player with communication skills at all levels.
