Customer Service Marketing Placement

Based in the customer service marketing department, you will play a key role in various marketing activities and projects throughout your internship to promote our appliance repair service, and the sales of our spare parts, accessories and cleaning and care products.

There will be a strong online focus, specifically on our branded websites (Bosch, Siemens, NEFF, and Gaggenau) and their respective online stores, but you will also be required to assist with the creation and delivery of offline marketing materials as necessary. You will also be responsible for marketing analytics and competitor analysis to report on department performance and campaigns run, and identify future opportunities for growth and development in an increasingly competitive market.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your e-commerce knowledge and skills through the implementation of promotional offers and vouchers on our customer service products, management of products within our online stores ensuring that their information is optimised, accurate, and up-to-date, and releasing new products to our online stores and promoting them to our customers.

You will have a strong working relationship with various departments, teams, and colleagues within BSH both locally and internationally, and also with our external creative, web, and Google agencies. You will be required to perform additional duties as reasonably required, adhere to all company processes, procedures, policies, and standards, and contribute to the overall success of the team and the wider company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, focus, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications required

Education: Working towards a marketing related degree.


  • Previous experience within a marketing role with strong online/digital experience would be desirable.
  • Creative flair and the ability to translate ideas into action.
  • Thrive when working on own initiative and without supervision.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to prepare reports and meaningful analysis on which to base informed conclusions with recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor competitors, and work to develop own knowledge of the market.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent English language skills.
  • Effective team player.
  • Well organised with the ability to multi-task.

Specific knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High standard of numeracy and literacy.
