As a placement student with BMW Financial Services, you will come into a real job role and be part of an established team. BMW Financial Services (GB) Limited was established in 1996 to handle wholesale, retail and fleet financing for the BMW Group. Based in Farnborough, Hampshire, It exists to support the sales of all BMW Group products in the UK and provide Retailers and customers with bespoke funding packages and insurance products enabling more customers to access the whole BMW range.

In 2016, BMW Financial Services (GB) Ltd was awarded the ‘Investors in People’ - Gold Standard.

• You will receive a full induction as well as on the job coaching, mentoring and personal development supported by our experts
• Student Placements for 2019 will start on the Monday 1st July (TBC) and you’ll spend your first weeks having a handover with the current placement student to get you up to speed.
• Competitive salary of £17,500 per annum, pension scheme.
• 27 days holiday allowance + Bank Holidays.

Requirements:

• Please note that our Undergraduate Placement opportunities are only open to students who will be returning to their studies following their placement with us.
• Studying towards a relevant degree ideally in Economics and Computer Science or Business and Computer Science (on target for 2.1 or above)

Skills & Qualifications

• Keen to get an overall insight of several different functions
• Understanding of data processing and data modelling.
• Ability to collate data for business from multiple sources and send out to stakeholders with capability to build reports.
• Enjoys managing and playing with data
• Strong communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
• Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements.
• Ability to work at both a detailed and high level
• Ability to work on own initiative (with support/mentoring as required)
• Ability to prioritise activities, work under pressure and multi-task
• Basic knowledge of Excel and SQL.
• Business Objects knowledge an advantage
• Individual must be outgoing and confident with a professional approach.
