Trainee Analyst Programmer Industrial Placement

Degree Requirements

You must be on track for a 2.1 or above studying an undergraduate degree in computing or a numerate scientific discipline.

You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree, but will not have graduated at the start of your placement.

Detailed description and scope of the role

You will responsible for supporting the delivery of solutions to help improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of R&D at GSK through programming to analyse and report clinical trial data using SAS® and other software.

A full range of training courses is available, giving you the opportunity to develop your technical and personal skills. This will be enhanced by your close interaction with Programmers, Statisticians and the wider project teams developing new and innovative medicines.

The successful student will also have the responsibility of maintaining and updating Team and Community SharePoint Sites used for internal/external communication and the opportunity to present information to the joint leadership team.
