LGC Standards

This is a great opportunity to work alongside our qualified scientists in ISO accredited laboratories. We are currently recruiting placement students in the following areas:

Human Testing, Fordham, Cambridgeshire
We use of a variety of sample preparation techniques (including SPE and LLE) and instrumental analysis techniques (mostly LCMS and GCMS) to analyse of a variety of human matrices for the presence of drugs of abuse. You will be involved in both routine sample analysis and method development primarily.

Supplement and Feed Testing Fordham, Cambridgeshire
We use a range of sample preparation techniques (including SPE and LLE) and instrumental procedures (GCMS/MS and LCMS/MS – including High Resolution Accurate Mass technology) to analyse a wide range of sample matrices to ensure products are not contaminated with banned substances. You will be involved in a range of activities from high throughput testing to custom investigative analysis.
