Engineering and Maintenance Placement

This placement will involve working within the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) team at TUI Airways Limited. This role will incorporate the opportunity to work with various teams who operate under the engineering Part 145 approvals, giving you valuable professional experience and skills highly sought after by top performing companies: Taking an aircraft through from planning for heavy maintenance, to the wash up after the aircraft returns to service.

What we are looking for:

• Undergraduates looking for a 12 month, full time placement position as part of a sandwich degree
• 300 UCAS points from 3 A-Levels
• Expected degree classification of a 2:1 or higher
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
• Motivated team player
• Confidence and competence with numbers and analysis
• Ambition, passion and a desire to work in the Travel Industry

For the Engineering Role, we are also looking for:

• Undergraduates looking for a 12 month, full time placement position beginning in August as part of a sandwich degree course in an Aviation related Engineering degree
• Ambition, passion and a desire to work within Aviation
• Eligibility to gain and retain an airside pass**

** Airside pass requirement includes 2 forms of ID, references for the past 5 years, DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) and GSAT (General Security Awareness Training). Applications need NOT be made prior to offer.
