Go To Market Associate Placement

SAP is looking for passionate, motivated and articulate second year students, currently on course for a 2:1 degree with a keen interest in working in a faced-paced and exciting environment. The Role

As a Go To Market Associate you will be engaged in the core functions of the COE team, as part of the overall Supply Chain of Selling. Key focusses include supporting the main areas of Demand Generation, Sales Play execution, Deal progression, Enablement and Market appropriate events and conferences. There is opportunity to assist in both the operational elements of the COE function, as well as the strategic directives coming down from Corporate (e.g. Intelligent enterprise) and the Go to Market team. You will gain exposure to the supply chain of selling and the entire sales cycle. This will include learning how a product / solution moves from Product Development to Go to Market, then to the market and sales teams, followed by positioning to customers and demand creation, to deal progression and ultimately deal closure. You will develop skills in how to segment markets, create target lists according to sales plays, and support sales teams in demand generation. You will be exposed to a significant amount about SAP’s strategy, its competitive differentiators, its solutions and products, and how to position these in the context of customers’ requirements.

Role Requirements

  • Business, accounting, IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
  • Time Management Skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budget
