Human Resources (Graduate Recruitment) Industrial Placement

We have an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate to join our thriving HR department as a Human Resources Coordinator, specifically specialising in Future Talent recruitment. We are offering a 13 month Industrial Placement opportunity that will give you responsibility for a number of initiatives and activities.

Our Future Talent team aligns to our global Talent Acquisition function and is responsible for designing, developing and implementing future talent programmes across the UK.

We provide expertise to our business and with local communities across the UK on future talent programmes including recruitment & selection, market trends, university and schools outreach, and employment marketing including social media.

The team supports the wider human resources function both in the UK and globally.

Role Responsibility

What will I gain from the programme?

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and employment marketing activities for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • Leading the University outreach activities nationally
  • Coordinating assessment centres and on boarding of new talent
  • Drive social media as part of a wider international team
  • Support talent development
  • Support the UK Recruitment Manager on wider projects relating to talent acquisition in the business

The Ideal Candidate

What criteria do I need to meet to apply?

We’re seeking undergraduates studying any degree discipline who have a desire and interest in working in HR with a focus on recruitment, talent development, marketing, including social media, and young people. There is a key focus on business strategy, project management and autonomous working.

Applicants will need to have good knowledge of MS Office applications

In terms of characteristics we are looking for applicants who:

  • Enjoy team collaboration and can build good working relationships at all levels;
  • Can adapt to situations and step out of their comfort zone to solve problems and make decisions;
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions on how we can be more innovative;
  • Are organised with the ability to learn and analyse information quickly.

The successful candidate will be based out of our Head Office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire but will get the opportunity to travel across the UK as part of the role.
