PR & Communications Placement

Our Communications Specialist position is an amazing opportunity for an entrepreneurial thinker and self-starter to grow in an industrial placement. Working in a global environment with teams around the world, you will be a key member of the global communications group driving Intel's positioning, thought leadership, messaging and narrative through story-telling and story-selling with key influencers.

As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to get involved in corporate events (ie IFA, Mobile World Congress, CES and Technology showcases) and product launches for media, news and public relations. This will include managing logistics, coordinating hardware requirements, measuring effectiveness of messaging through data analytics, providing management reporting and of course communicating with colleagues around the world.

This position also enables you to link to multiple stakeholders throughout Intel's organisation such as the Digital Marketing Team together with Brand, Agency teams and Marketing Strategy Leads in order to support the Communications group's activities. Day to day responsibilities include handling the logistics for device sampling programmes, building internal communications such as our bi-weekly newsletter, working with external agencies to build weekly reports on EMEA's current PR communications and proof- reading documents that will be released to the public.

We are looking for an articulate, creative, motivated individual with a passion for communications and great attention to detail. In return we offer an exciting role which holds real responsibility and possible travel opportunities.

For the role, we are looking for someone with common sense, the ability to work in a fast changing environment, resilience, the ability to multitask, excellent time-management, enthusiasm and ability to communicate clearly. Along with this, the candidate should ideally have excellent spelling and grammar abilities.

This is a 13 month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in Marketing, PR and Communications and Journalism or similar subjects, and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree which includes a year in industry.
