Change and Business Solutions Internship

Our Change and Business Solutions programme provides you with the chance to start building analyst skills whilst developing agile, digital and customer-obsessed mind-sets to help our business change to make sure we’re serving our customers well.

Innovation within the Financial Services industry is crucial to remaining commercial and competitive. This pathway is all about focusing on customer experiences, data and technology to support cutting edge insights, so we can be more agile and innovative, keeping us ahead of the curve with the ever evolving needs of our customer.

About the programme

Our ten week summer internship will give you first hand experience of the work we do in Change and Business Solutions.

You’ll be supporting us to develop leading-edge, innovative solutions to serve our customers in the best way we can.

You’ll be rewarded with a salary of £21,500 pro rata, depending on location.

This internship’s a great opportunity to:

  • Develop your skills, and build some new ones
  • Meet new people and grow your professional network
  • Deepen your understanding of our business
  • Experience our team culture and values
  • Get stuck into a real life project and add value to our business
  • Gain valuable career experience, which will inspire your future career choices

For us, it’s about finding talented and passionate people, who’ll make a difference to our business in the long term. That’s why if you complete the internship successfully, and enjoy your experience, there could be a place available for you on our 2020 Change and Business Solutions graduate programme.

What you'll do

The internship starts with an induction and then you’ll start your ten week placement, where you’ll attend training workshops, get involved with our day to day work, and take part in a business improvement project.

You’ll be updating your learning log so, towards the end of the internship, you’ll be able to show off everything you’ve learned in your final assessment.

We’ll pair you up with a ‘buddy’ and a line manager you’ll support you for the full ten weeks. Your buddy will be a current graduate who’ll help you get settled by sharing their experience. Your line manager will provide guidance and support throughout the programme, and help you grow your professional network.

About you

If you’d like to apply for this internship, you’ll need to be in your penultimate year of a university degree, and on course to achieve a 2:1.

We’re looking for people who have a real passion for innovation, who want to take on new challenges head on. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, and an inquisitive nature; paired with a technical mind-set and analytical abilities.
