The UK acquisition also included a wholesale and distribution business.

IT Industrial Placement

The IT Undergraduate role although based at Westerleigh would involve some travelling to all terminals and business locations in the UK and will be reporting to the IT / OT Engineer. You will a keen interest in IT systems and processes and have the ability to solve issues and support systems through-out the business. A key requirement of this role along with basic IT skills will be to demonstrate a keen interest in IT software and hardware, systems and processes, and how you can drive this forward to support the business. The applicant must hold a full UK driving licence and possess the ability to work effectively in a supporting role and be selfmotivated and driven to work on own.

We are looking for undergraduates with financial discipline, business discipline, IT discipline or economic discipline backgrounds. These roles require excellent interpersonal and communications skills, an assertive approach as you will be working closely with Management, Operational and Maintenance Teams and external bodies. You will have the ability to use your initiative and plan ahead, and possess good written and verbal communication skills. The roles would ideally suit self-motivated individuals who have the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.

The recruitment process for all undergraduate industrial placements will involve attending an assessment centre and include delivering a presentation, group activities and individual interviews.
