Digital Training Assistant Placement

We are looking for a highly motivated and top performer to join our 12- month placement to support the digital training developer in the accelerated development of the on-line training material to support the growing demand from our customers.

This is a truly varied opportunity to be both hands on with product, being involved with producing material (videoing and editing) and supporting the delivery of the training across our sites (within Europe, if required).

You will support the team to provide cost -effective digital training material for delivering to our ever-changing market and keeps us ahead of our competition.

Overview of the role

  • Assist in the creation and development of digital training through Articulate software that supports both our intranet and extranet training sites. This will involve: -
    • Creating video content – both filming and editing.
    • Source and prepare images from our internal library.
    • Upload translations and liaise with Commercial Training Managers to prepare courses for publishing.
    • Editing and approval of new course material.
    • Liaising with the US DIGITAL team to review training material that can be adapted for Europe to increase our volume of courses.
  • Support digital tracking through salesforce.com

You will be or have:

  • Second Year Bachelor University Student seeking a placement and intending to return to full education after the placement
  • Studying marketing or digital content creation or business-related degree and achieved at least 2:1 to date
  • Strong motivation to achieve, well organized and structured approach.
  • Experience of working with MS, Photoshop & video editing software (even as a hobby)
  • Articulate Studio 13 & Storyline 3 an advantage but training can be provided
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Be able to adapt to flexible working hours as required (able to travel, if required)
  • Flexible approach – to have the ability to multi-task, be open to new methods and ways of working
  • Team Player

Eligibility Criteria

  • Second Year Bachelor University Student seeking a placement and intending to return to full education after the placement
  • Studying digital content creation, business or marketing (related) bachelor degree
  • Must have achieved at least 2:1 in first year and on target to achieve at least 2:1 in the second year
  • Must be able to commit for at least 12 months with a start date July 2018 (TBC)
  • All candidates must have a full UK driving license.
