About UTC Aerospace Systems

UTC is a global leader in aerospace and defence. There are few, if any, aircraft around which do not have our equipment in them somewhere. This means you won't get better exposure to a field you've set your heart on whilst studying for a technically based degree.

For someone who's bright, switched on and willing to learn, it’s the best possible place to begin a career in aerospace.

HR Industrial Placement

Do you want to be a part of a global business, creating innovative solutions for the aerospace industry’s biggest customers? This is the core of what we do in the Electric, Environmental & Engine Systems (ES) business.

Our global HR team works on behalf of our 41,000 employees to create a culture where talent thrives.

Whether it’s the implementation of our holistic “Healthy You” wellness program, the accelerated development of our top performers, partnership with managers to lead successful teams, or recruiting the best people to our organization, we impact the business in a number of important ways. We do this, and much more, without losing sight of our values, ethical standards and the importance of compliance.

From the big, strategic programs to the high-touch client partnerships, our HR team is leading cultural transformation at UTC Aerospace Systems.

This means you will get great exposure to how a Human Resources Team strive to provide a best in class support service to over 400 employees. For someone who’s bright, switched on and willing to learn, it’s the best possible place to begin a career within the HR function.

We are looking to offer an undergraduate the opportunity to join us in a 12 month Industrial Placement to work within a dedicated professional HR Team. The placement will provide direct exposure to all aspects of a fast paced HR function and ask for those who have a genuine interest in a Human Resources function (ideally with appropriate HR course modules).
