Are you a current undergraduate or recent graduate hoping to enter a career in recruitment? Would you like to work for a leading global media organisation? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We are currently recruiting a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Entry Careers Programme in London from July 2018.

This 12-month internship is part of our Entry Careers Programme, running from July 2018 to July 2019. These internships are for recent graduates or current undergraduates with a placement year in their degree, and will give the successful candidates invaluable ‘on the job’ experience in their chosen field. All our interns will start and finish their placements together, so this is your chance to learn and develop new skills alongside other professionals. As well as networking opportunities and in-depth exposure to a leading media and entertainment company, we will also provide you with training and resources for your development, to ensure that you are ‘business ready’ by the end of your internship. 



The Talent Acquisition Intern will support a busy Talent Acquisition team of two to source and attract the best talent to Turner. This means it’s a front row seat to the daily life of a Talent Acquisition team and an opportunity to interact with many different areas of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about how an HR team works, as well as learning about the media industry itself. 

Key duties and responsibilities include:

General recruitment responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment of roles across Turner EMEA including advertising roles, screening candidates and building talent pipelines
  • Shadowing the Talent Acquisition team in recruitment briefing meetings with hiring managers
  • Writing job adverts and advertise on external websites
  • Supporting the shortlisting process –filter applications and conduct screening calls
  • Supporting recruitment projects
  • Providing general HR administrative support

Entry level careers Programme: Coordinate the recruitment for the annual entry level careers programme including;

  • Advertising the placements both internally and externally
  • Researching and organising University careers fairs
  • Arranging assessment days
  • Administering video interviews or screening calls

Knowledge and experience required



Essential:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate with all levels
  • Proactive and takes initiative
  • Strong administration skills
  • An interest in HR and recruitment
  • Expected degree result 2:1
  • Additional European language is desirable, however not essential – ideally French, German or Italian
